Cyber Security Concept

Ion Bank recently conducted a Cyber Security seminar for business customers which focused on Corporate Account Takeover (CATO) and Information Security Awareness.

The seminar was presented by Suzette Leal, CISM, Assistant Vice President, Information Security Officer and was held at Ion Bank’s 1430 New Haven Road, Naugatuck office. Also included was a panel discussion featuring representatives from law enforcement, including the Secret Service.

Topics discussed were what CATO is and how it works, how to protect a business, and best practices to avoid data breaches, fraud, cyber threats and malicious attacks to a network.

“It’s reassuring to know that security of customer banking information is a top priority for Ion Bank” said James Kaminski, IT Coordinator at Aerial Electric and seminar attendee.
