The Ion Bank Foundation has awarded a $5,000 grant to the Neighborhood Housing Services of Waterbury for their Community Building and Engagement efforts.

Charles J. Boulier III, President & CEO of Ion Bank and Ion Bank Foundation said “Neighborhood Housing Services is invaluable to the Waterbury area as they collectively build healthy and strong communities by increasing resident engagement, develop resident leaders, strengthen resident-led associations and also sponsor community building activities”.

The NHS of Waterbury is a non-profit, HUD certified organization with the purpose of revitalizing neighborhoods and creating homeownership opportunities throughout the city of Waterbury to foster community revitalization and individual economic empowerment.
