Ion Bank recently opened a new branch in Unionville, located at 75 Main Street, which is the bank’s 19th branch.

“This is an exciting opportunity to bring true community banking back to Unionville,” said David J. Rotatori, President and CEO of Ion Bank. “As a mutual bank, we do what is in the best interest of our customers and the communities we serve. We’re thrilled to now be part of the Unionville community and welcome the opportunity to serve its residents, families and businesses.”

Cherilyn Spatola is the VP, Branch Manager of the Unionville branch. A professional within the banking industry, Spatola brings over 31 years of diverse experience to Unionville. In this role, Ms. Spatola will support and develop staff, ensure customer service excellence, be involved in the community and develop new consumer and business relationships.

“Cherilyn’s extensive experience in Retail Banking will enable her to lead the staff team to provide customers with the level of personalized service necessary to achieve their financial goals,” said Laura Gallinoto, Senior Vice President, Retail Banking Manager.

In addition to its lobby hours, Personal Teller Machines are available for extended hours on Saturday, along with before and after typical bank hours on weekdays. This technology gives customers the ability to interact with a live teller through two-way video. Bank customers may conduct typical transactions through Personal Teller Machines including making deposits and payments, transferring money, cashing checks, and more.

The new Unionville branch is staffed with consultative Personal Bankers who can serve customers’ needs with everything from a new checking account, to a mortgage and business loan. Additionally, Ion Insurance and Ion Investment services are available to help you grow and protect your financial future.
