Ion Bank Breaks Ground for Second Branch in Farmington Valley

Naugatuck, CT, July 20, 2020 — Ion Bank recently had a groundbreaking ceremony for its 19th branch at 75 Main Street in Unionville, the second branch in the Farmington Valley.

In addition to its lobby hours, an interactive Personal Teller Machine is available for extended hours on Saturday, along with before and after typical bank hours on weekdays. This technology gives customers the ability to interact with a live teller through two-way video. Bank customers may conduct typical transactions through Personal Teller Machines including making deposits and payments, transferring money, cashing checks, and more.

The new Unionville branch is staffed with consultative Personal Bankers who can serve customers’ needs with everything from a new checking account, to a mortgage, business loan and a Commercial Lending team.
